The Hanwag Makra Combi GTX® is a very lightweight, stable and crampon-compatible all-round alpine boot that takes on anything from an adventurous mountain approach, a multi-day trek, rocky scrambles, glacier crossings or just a lot of hard, hiking miles. The robust mountain boot offers very good protection yet plenty of freedom of movement thanks to the rear-lowered cuff and waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex® lining.

Due to its wider width in the forefoot, the boot's construction offers enough space for thicker socks. This allows for unimpeded circulation of the toes - an essential prerequisite for the prevention of frostbite. The Makra Combi GTX can be precisely adjusted thanks to its optimised Ghilly lacing at the toe.

The cushioned design of the sole is equipped with a supportive stiffness with an extremely grippy, self-cleaning Vibram® Pepe outsole that includes a climbing zone. A crampon-compatible heel welt makes it possible to wear semi-automatic crampons.
