Description

The Glacier Expedition sleeping bag from Mountain Equipment is by far the warmest part of the Glacier series and already bears its intended use in its name. Whether with the Pulka by the Arctic or in the last camp before the 8000m summit, the down sleeping bag brings tired adventurers up to -35 degrees warm through the night. The Glacier Expedition does not capitulate even in strong wind and humidity in the tent. Protected by the windproof and highly water-repellent Drilite® outer material (1,500 mm water column), it can withstand even the most difficult conditions and weighs just two kilos (regular size).

To avoid cold bridges, the sleeping bag works with trapezoidal chambers, so that the bridges between the chambers are always neatly covered with down. The anatomically shaped hood and foot box as well as the down lined cover strip on the zipper also help to keep the body warm.

With the Expedition-Fit cut, Mountain Equipment gives the sleeping bag additional space, which allows the carrying of additional insulation layers, while the extra space in the foot area can be used for equipment sensitive to cold.

The Glacier Expedition comes with a waterproof packsack and storage bag.
