This fiber is so fine that it feels noticeably softer on the skin than conventional merino wool and is barely noticeable even on direct contact.</p> <p data-start="493" data-end="858">The material is knitted as a dense interlock, which not only gives the pants a comfortable stretch, but also makes them significantly warmer and more robust than lighter merino base layers.
