<p data-start="330" data-end="669">The La Sportiva Crest Evo Shell jacket is designed for downhill ski touring and demanding use in changeable weather conditions. It is aimed at ski tourers and skiers who are on shorter ascents or near lifts and need full weather protection for the descent.</p> <p data-start="671" data-end="1213">The three-layer Evo Shell&trade; laminate is made entirely from recycled polyester - including the Sympatex&reg; membrane. In contrast to microporous membranes, this works on a closed, hydrophilic principle: water vapor is transported to the outside by chemical molecular movement without clogging pores. As a result, the jacket remains permanently waterproof, windproof and vapor-permeable even in changing conditions. The membrane is completely PFC-free, elastic and recyclable thanks to its mono-component structure.</p> <p data-start="1215" data-end="1551">Pre-shaped sleeves and a three-way adjustable, helmet-compatible hood ensure freedom of movement and reliable weather protection. The cut is designed for free movement on the descent. Ventilation zippers are not provided - instead, the focus is on reduced construction and mechanical vapor permeability.</p> <p data-start="1553" data-end="1934">Two zippered outer pockets, an inner zippered pocket and a mesh pocket provide space for skins, gloves or a hat. The cuffs can be adjusted with fastener straps and the hem can be adjusted with a drawstring.
