<p>The optimally protective La Sportiva TX5 GTX are very lightweight hiking boots and perfect for technically demanding alpine terrain as well as quick hikes and long approaches.</p> <p>As a consistent further development within the technical TX Approach series, the mountaineering boot offers a very flexible, gaiter-like shaft thanks to the 3D Flex System. In combination with the new PFC-free GORE-TEX ePE membrane, feet stay reliably dry even in serious downpours. The edge and side-stable sole with its non-slip Vibram&reg; Megagrip profile provides excellent sure-footedness on climbing passages. The long lacing system, divided into 2 zones for precise adjustment, also makes a difference here.</p> <p>All-round scree protection and hard-wearing upper leather guarantee sufficient robustness. In addition, the injected EVA midsole of the TX5 GTX provides comfortable shock absorption even on long, demanding routes and the Impact Brake System on the outsole provides excellent grip on downhill sections.</p>
