<p data-start="322" data-end="815">The men's Ortles TW Air HD jacket from Salewa was developed for demanding alpine activities - from securing steep icefalls to long mixed routes. Its special feature: the innovative TirolWool&reg; Air insulation. Here, sustainable wool made from Tyrol is combined with partially recycled polyester. The result is a filling with hollow fibers that efficiently stores body heat, is extremely lightweight and provides reliable warmth even when damp.</p> <p data-start="817" data-end="1087">For additional protection, Salewa uses weatherproof Powertex&reg; material in particularly exposed areas such as the hood, shoulders, upper arms and cuffs. This means the jacket remains abrasion-resistant and durable, even if you come into contact with ropes or rocks.</p> <p data-start="1089" data-end="1513">The alpine features make the jacket the ideal partner for serious routes: a helmet-compatible hood protects you in wind and weather, the two-way front zipper allows you to access your belay device at any time, and adjustable cuffs with thumb loops can be easily pulled over gloves.
