<p>The men's Supertrac RC 3 is Scott's answer to the high demands of technical mountain trails, vertical kilometers and alpine races. Building on the proven platform of its predecessor, the third generation brings targeted further developments in terms of durability, protection and rolling behavior - without losing sight of the series' recipe for success.</p> <p>The sole with radial traction has been specially designed for running on varied, slippery and steep terrain and gives you reliable grip in every direction of movement. As before, cushioning is provided by the full-length Kinetic Light Foam - Scott's lightest EVA foam - which offers a balanced mix of ground feel, reactivity and comfort. The dynamic rolling is supported by the further developed ER2 Rocker geometry, which gives you real advantages on long climbs and quick downhills.</p> <p>The new upper material is particularly noteworthy: Scott is using the extremely durable yet lightweight Matryx&reg; fabric for the first time, which is additionally protected with TPU overlays. The integrated, elastic sock construction protects against debris and dirt without compromising breathability. The soft knitted tongue ensures a comfortable fit that adapts to the foot and prevents pressure points.</p> <p>With its moderate sole thickness of 20 mm in the heel and 15.5 mm in the forefoot, the Supertrac RC 3 is clearly designed for precise and direct running - ideal for ambitious trail runners who are aiming for the best times on technically demanding terrain.
