It achieves this, among other things, by using functional Octo yarns that guarantee an optimal warmth-to-weight ratio. The high breathability and fast moisture transport go hand in hand with the lightness of the partly recycled polyester.</p><p>The fleece jacket also scores with important features for alpine tours. Movement-friendly raglan sleeves combined with flat seams prevent annoying chafing and reduce the vulnerability of the material when you are carrying a backpack. Underarm gussets provide even more freedom of movement, while thumb loops and the body-hugging fit keep the Summit Futurefleece Hoodie Jacket in place.
