Freelite 2 Tent

The MSR FreeLite 2 is made for trekking couples or teams of two who want to save weight on long trips - without sacrificing protection, comfort and well thought-out features. With a minimum weight of just 910 g, it is one of the lightest fully-fledged 2-person tents with double access on the market. The semi-freestanding construction can be set up quickly thanks to the lightweight aluminum poles and is stable even on uneven ground. The optimized room concept offers enough space for two standard sleeping mats and sufficient interior height for comfortable sitting. The rectangular floor plan without tapering ensures that there are no space conflicts even when lying sideways. Two side entrances allow separate access for both people - ideal when flexibility is required at night. The associated vestibules offer practical storage space for rucksacks, shoes or cooking equipment and keep the interior free of luggage. Ventilation openings and the breathable inner material ensure a pleasant climate even in warmer temperatures or high humidity. The outer tent and floor have a highly water-repellent coating and provide reliable protection against moisture. The materials have been solution-dyed, which saves water and energy during production and improves UV resistance and color fidelity. As a result, the tent remains durable and dimensionally stable even with frequent use.
