The goose down is made from a species-appropriate material and is warm enough for you to wear it on your own on cool days during the transition period. In the hoodless version, the Expedition Pack Down jacket is particularly suitable as a warm midlayer for activities on cold winter days. The down on the shoulders is supported by a synthetic fibre padding (made of recycled polyester) to counteract pressure and sweat under the rucksack straps.</p><p>When you wear the Expedition Pack Down Jacket on its own, its durable yet lightweight outer fabric with PFC-free DWR coating keeps the wind and even a shower away.
